1.1 Purpose of the forums
This website is here to give homeschooled teenagers a place to interact and chat with other homeschooled teens.

2.1 Conditions of membership
a. You must agree to follow this page of rules.
b. You must be 13 or older to join the forum.
c. You must be no older than 24 to be a member of the forum.
d. You must be currently homeschooled, a recent homeschool graduate, or have special permission from the Admin if neither of the former applies.
e. You must have only one membership account on the forum unless you have the consent of the Admin to obtain more.

3.1 Posting Rules
a. You must not pretend to be someone or something which you aren't.
b. You must respect your fellow members and treat others as you would like to be treated.
c. You may not enter the forum of the opposite sex or join any of the usergroup forums that don't apply to you.
d. You may not post anything rude, crude or overly disturbing in nature. If you are unsure of something that you would like to post, feel free to contact the Admin for approval.
e. No spamming. (Posting without any purpose other than to use up space)
f. No thread hijacking. (Posting replies in threads that are off-topic to the original post)
g. You may not link to any inappropriate content or disturbing material.
h. You may not post images or graphic pictures that could offend another member. (Please keep all site content PG13.)
i. Off-topic posts will be moved, and inappropriate content will be deleted immediately.
j. You may not use the message boards to sell or swap merchandise.
k. You may not use the message boards to promote your personal forum.
l. Publicly bashing this or other forums will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with a forum, you may PM the administrator or moderators.

3.2 Swearing
a. Crude language of any kind will not be tolerated on the forum. Swearing does not encourage vocabulary development- there are alternative ways to express emotion.
b. Symbol swearing is not allowed. (@$$, $h!t)
c. Abbreviated swearing is not allowed. (BS, LMAO)

4. Debate Rules
a. All debates must be kept in the debate forum.
b. Back up what you say, do not post anything that could be untrue about another member.
c. Do not abuse other debaters by calling them names or bashing their beliefs.
d. Avoid using excessive amounts of sarcasm when debating.
e. Do not make fun of someone for walking away from a debate.
f. Think about what you say before you post it. Do not post in anger.

5. Signature and Avatar Rules
a. The maximum signature character length is set to 220. Feel free to use as much or as little of that space as you would like.
b. You may use an image in your signature if you choose, but it must be no larger than 400 pixels wide by 200 pixels high.
c. You may use your own avatar or one of the avatars in the gallery. The maximum avatar size is 150x150 pixels.
d. Do not use any sort of inappropriate, violent, or suggestive images, words or phrases in your signature or profile.

6. Penalties
a. Violation of any rule will result first in a warning, and then restriction from the forums.
b. The Admins/Mods reserve the right to decide the appropriate penalty for any violation of the rules.
c. If a member continues to break a rule or rules, the member may be banned for a determined amount of time.

These rules are subject to be updated and changed at the discretion of the Admin.

Please report any misconduct or violation of rules to the Admin.

Remember that the purpose of all these rules is to ensure a fun and safe forum for all of the members. If you have an issue with any of the rules, feel free to contact the Admin.
